Renolyst publishes cost breakdowns and financing comparisons for people planning real renovation projects. If you have first-hand knowledge — as a homeowner who has been through it, a contractor, an estimator, or a lender — we would like to publish you.
You can write under your own name or stay anonymous to readers. Either way we ask for a name and email so we can check facts with you before anything goes live.
Editorial guidelines
Every submission is read by a human before it appears on the site. Nothing publishes automatically. We are looking for:
- Real numbers with a source. A quote you received, an invoice you paid, a published index. Tell us where the figure came from and roughly when and where.
- Original writing. Not published elsewhere, not generated and pasted, not rewritten from another site.
- Disclosure. If you sell a product or service related to what you are writing about, say so. We will still publish you — we just label it.
- Specifics over generalities. “Our 10×12 kitchen came to 26,400 dollars including permits” is worth more than “kitchens are expensive”.
We will not publish affiliate links you insert, lead-generation copy, or pieces whose main purpose is to promote a company. We may edit for length, clarity and house style, and we may ask you for sources before publishing.
Prefer to pitch first, or want to send us a cost data point rather than a full article? Email contact@renolyst.com.
